Hapchuk, Inc Will Continue to Provide Essential Services During PA Business Shutdown

To slow the spread of coronavirus, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered thousands of “non-life-sustaining” businesses across the state to shut down, starting Thursday, March 19th at 8 p.m.  Many concerned customers have reached out to us to see if we will remain open during this shutdown. Hapchuk, Inc provides Waste Management and Remediation Services, so we are permitted to continue physical operations, according to the Governor’s orders. Many of the services we provide are critical to sustaining public health and protecting the environment. Therefore, Hapchuk, Inc will remain open and will continue providing essential septic and wastewater management services during the COVID-19 outbreak.

While the nature of our business prohibits us from participating in a complete shutdown, we are taking additional measures to protect our employees and customers. We ask that the following precautions be taken:

  • Hapchuk, Inc employees will limit interaction with customers. Please excuse us if we don’t extend common courtesies such as a handshake.

  • Please pay by credit card when possible to prevent the exchange of cash and checks.

  • We respectfully ask that customers do not visit our office, unless necessary, during the state-mandated COVID-19 lockdown.

  • If you are sick, please avoid contact with our employees and others. Likewise, we will do our best to make sure our employees stay at home if they are sick.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all band together during this challenging time. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide any future updates as needed. Please take care of yourselves and your families, and as always, do not hesitate to call Hapchuk, Inc if we can be of service. God bless!
